H is for Hiking
We have always loved hiking. We hiked even when the kids were little….short ones, but still the mountains called! It was easy when we lived in Montana cuz the mountains were so close…20 minutes of driving and you’d be somewhere beautiful. Here in Washington there is a lot of wonderful hiking too…but it’s always a drive. Which has made it become more of an event than a spontaneous “what’cha want to do” sort of thing.
All my pics of hikes are fairly recent ones. I looked all over for some from the backpack trip hubby and the kids took over the Olympic Mountain range….their longest hike…but couldn’t find a single one. Shoot!

Anyway. Here are some others to peek at:
Hubby and kids camped at Lake Ozette and hiked out to the beach. Miles of boardwalks.

Well, you know I would join you on any day.
I love hiking too. The area where I live is beautiful too but it is not as spectacular as the landscapes in your photos. Wonderful!
Oh, hiking! Great h post! I love hiking, too, can't wait till it's warm enough to do some more.
You've hiked a lot of places!
I'm so glad you did hiking! It has been on my mind a bunch lately! I want to go hiking sometime really soon, I have missed it.
I love to hike but don't seem to get to do enough. My son-in-law has hiked the Appalachian Trail. He spent 6 month doing it. That's dedication. He and my 7 month pregnant daughter hiked a 24 mile trail on the Pacific Coast with my two year old granddaughter. My daughters trail name was Strong Mama
Nice photos! My fav is the second....I love Glacier National Park...good H choice (I had a hard time with H)
I'll just wait here and love your pictures. Lovely post!!
In true self obsorbed fashion, your post made me think "have we never hiked together bff?".
Fun post as always...love the photos of SUMMER!
Great photos of what looks like wonderful family times.
The Saguaro nat'l Forest is so awesome - one of my favorite places!
