Feet Friday

This is a special Feet Friday picture. It’s from the “Back on My Feet” website.
I was watching CNN’s “Heroes” special and one of their finalists was Anne Muhlum. Anne is a young woman of 27 who is an avid runner. She would jog by a homeless shelter (in Philadelphia) every day while on her daily run. The men would wave and smile at her as she passed by….and one day she got an idea. Why not start a running club for the homeless. Their website explains it much better. Anyway, I was impressed. Not only by the idea…it’s unique and creative. But by her age…we’re always told how selfish the younger generation is….obviously that isn’t always the case. And also by the results.
