I have a super cute quilt on my design wall right now. It's a pattern by Jaybird Quilts called "Hugs and Kisses". I have bought Hawaiian fabrics the last two times I traveled to Hawaii and my best friend also picked some up for me on one of her trips there. I used them for this quilt. Blocks are all done but not put together yet.

Here it is:
And here is a close-up of 4 blocks so you can see the fabrics better:
I love Judy's new motto that she said on her blog this morning - “Why Finish Something When I Can Start Something New?” That is so true for me....but I'm determined to finish this one as it holds fun vacation memories for me!

What fun fabrics. It will be a perfect vacation remembrance. Starting something new is fun, but it feels so much better to finish a project.
Oh man, love the fabrics! This is going to be a great quilt :)
Great quilt! Makes me want to go to Hawaii and get my own fabrics.
ohhh I love this pattern - and what a nice use of those vacation fabrics - they really go together great!
I love this quilt with the Hawaii fabrics. I have many Hawaii fabrics and have started something but have put it aside for now.
I had to come over and look at this quilt. It's fabulous! I bought the pattern a number of months ago and seeing yours makes me itching to get to it. I love those Hawaiian fabrics!
Beautiful quilt! Love all the fun colors and fabrics. What a great way to remember your vacations.
What a great pattern to show off the wonderful fabric.
I love how bright it is, and definitely fun!!!
I like! It looks similar to a scrappy pattern on the quiltville site that I did. Not quite the same, but close. I liked the “Why Finish Something When I Can Start Something New?” quote too. That one is still a top, but I pull it out to look at on occasion :-) Love your fabrics in this one.
