This is what was on my design wall this morning. It's a beautiful applique quilt called "Primavera"....which you can find at Vintage Spools. I am making changes in some blocks to make the quilt more personal to me. For example, I had to add my cat Finnian. :) I decided to put up all I've made so far and then decide on background fabrics for the rest. I labeled them and took a picture.....hopefully I won't forget when I prepare new ones to applique.
But, this is what is on my design wall as of this evening:
See other design walls at Judy's site. Enjoy.

This is a picture of all the strips I sewed together with my focus fabric below. I made one strip set which gave me the pieces in the picture above.
This quilt will be on my design wall for quite a while.....and change a few times. It takes weeks to play with all the pieces.....what happens if you move this here.....or add this there? That kind of thing!!! I'm excited about it, though. Love this project. See other design walls at Judy's site. Enjoy.

WHat beautiful colours in your strip sets!
Your two quilts are so different. The first has such soft and pretty colors. The second though, wow, it is going to be a real jaw dropper when it is done.
I love both of your projects. I keep meaning to do one of the strip quilts but haven't started pulling fabrics. I love yours. The other one is lovely.
You know how much I love your applique quilt, and oh my goodness, the strips and curves quilt is going to be so beautiful! You may have to lock it on your way or find it missing someday, LOL.
Can't wait to see how it progresses!
Two projects at once Typical of us Quilters. I like the applique. Can't wait to see what you have at Retreat to work on...
I'm loving you in your green and blue phase. The colors are so vibrant. Beautiful!
